Purpose of This Resource
Texas law makes many government records available, but release information is divided among agencies. The Ward County Sheriff holds county booking and release records. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice operates the statewide offender search, where an eligible record may show status and release-related dates. The TDCJ Parole Division handles state parole and mandatory supervision, while the 143rd Community Supervision and Corrections Department handles local court-ordered probation. Federal Bureau of Prisons records follow a separate federal route. This site organizes those official sources, release-record request methods, custody distinctions, and supervision paths in one place.
Resources Organized Here
The material is arranged around the record or agency that can answer each question.
- The home page provides the full Ward County released-person search path and release-record request process.
- Separate pages cover a projected release date, the current county notification check, and parole and probation.
- Facility pages distinguish the Ward County jail from the Monahans Police Department's municipal arrest and holding role.
- Instructions identify when to use the sheriff, TDCJ offender search, criminal clerk, BOP locator, or ICE locator.
- Records guidance explains how to request an existing booking record or photograph without promising access, price, or response time.
Limits of Our Role
Ward County Released Inmates is privately run. It has no connection to a Texas government agency, sheriff's office, jail, police department, court, TDCJ, or federal corrections agency.
- We cannot release, detain, move, or confirm the custody of any person.
- We cannot post bond, arrange visits, deliver funds, or retrieve property.
- We cannot obtain an official record on a visitor's behalf.
- We do not provide legal advice.
- We cannot promise that an address, telephone number, fee, or agency procedure has not changed.
Only the government office that created or holds a record can confirm current custody, charges, release, or the official contents of that record.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by independent providers. Those companies determine their own data practices, prices, and results. If a visitor follows a tool into a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep access to its general reference material free. Ward County Released Inmates does not control a partner's charges, coverage, or output.
